In November we took a trip to New York City where Occupy Wall Street had been in progress for about 35 days so far. Incredible to see. What struck me the most was the amount of diversity amongst the protesters. For some reason I had it in my little head that everyone would be doused in pachouli oil wearing hemp shoes, nothing against those types, :), but it was pretty amazing to see such a range of protesters voicing their frustration with the way our country is being run. I applaud those brave enough to stand up for what they believe in.
